13 Reasons Why is an American drama-mystery web television series based on the 2007 novel Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It is the story of a young high school student as she descends into despair brought on by betrayal and bullying, culminating with her suicide. She generates the thirteen reasons why she took her own life in a series of cassette tapes.

Inspired by the story and the world wide reaction to the web series A Story and Sabrina Wells, William Smith student have teamed up to attempt to destigmatize suicidal ideology and bring awareness to bullying by calling out to fellow students and administration to speak out on why suicide might not be the best option. The results incarnated in 13 personal message videos documented on Ipods serving as interactive kiosks. The results will be featured on the website weekly.
